4-28-04 Northern Minnesota Severe Storm A small detour during my commute home to St. Cloud from Minneapolis this day, when not much was expected besides some possible damaging winds, proved to be worth the extra hour drive. I headed North from Monticello ending up in Milaca and saw some structure on the severe warned cell to the North, including an unexpected wall cloud which maintained for 30 minutes or so. A refreshing glimpse of the seductive stormy sky as life awakens after a long Minnesota winter....... -Melanie Metz, twistersisters.com |
