06-29-05 Central/ Southern Minnesota Chase

We started out near Montevideo jut ESE of the surface Low on a boundary intersection where initiation took place around 4pm. These cells became linear quickly so we headed south to the southernmost cell that went up on the pre-frontal trough. We were 45 miles north of the cell as it produced a weak tornado near Madelia, MN. The first image is the updraft of the tornadic cell around the time it was producing a tornado (~8pm). The other images are of a smaller cell 40 miles NW of Madelia.
