06-07-05 Wanblee, South Dakota LP Supercell

We chased a gorgeous Low Precipitation supercell in SW South Dakota this day. It produced a brief touchdown near Wanblee, SD and then moved NE. The supercell maintained beautiful structure but did not produce another tornado. As it approached more backed surface winds along the boundary a line of severe storms closed in from the West and ingested this supercell. It became part of the line that produced very strong, damaging outflow winds as it moved through the state of SD and MN into WI through the night.
