05-13-04 Texas- The Very LONG Chase Photographs by Melanie Metz and Peggy Willenberg I can't remember exactly how far we chased but we started in Oklahoma City, headed down into Texas and moved SW along the shelf of a very long line of linear cells. We stayed just ahead of the line travelling through remote areas of Northern TX all the way into Mc Culloch county in Central Texas. We finally approached a long lived supercell to the south at sundown before we stopped at MAC's BBQ for a bite to eat. |
