04-11-05 Washington, KS Cell near Surface Low This cell went up near Marysville, KS just NNE of the surface low. The cell split and then intensified dumping large amounts of up to golf ball sized hail just ESE of Washington. The snow plows quickly came out to clear 36. The base looked interesting for a while with a decent wall cloud but as the cell moved NNE into Nebraska where the sruface winds were strong out of the North, it quickly transitioned to an outflow dominant cell with a large, gorgeous shelf cloud.
